Our specialty is renovations and extensions. We are also passionate about energy efficient new builds. Taking care of everything from concept design to completion. Creating a stylish, functional warm and comfortable place that you can call home.
First, we listen to your vision. How you would like to live and how you would like your house to look and feel.
We explore design options and prepare concepts that answer your brief.
From there we take care of everything needed - finished plans, consents, pricing, programming and construction.
This means an efficient 'fret free' home building experience for you.

Antony is the Director for Evolve. A Chartered Civil Engineer by profession. He has worked on a number of large construction projects throughout New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Having completed a full renovation of his own hillside villa, Evolve Design + Build was born.
Antony's experience in designing, managing and building complex structures means your project is in good hands.
Hamish is the main builder for Evolve. A genuine good guy. Not afraid of hard work. He has an eagle eye for detail and is a highly efficient extremely practical perfectionist.
Together, with our team of builders and subcontractors, our knowledge and skills ensure your home is well designed and efficiently constructed to only the highest standard.

WE WORK DIFFERENTLY
We pride ourselves on having an open, honest and collaborative working relationship with you.
Central to this is an 'all-eyes-open' payment system, typically called a 'Cost Plus Contract'.
It means you only pay for the work we do and the materials we use.
Many build contracts are 'Fixed Price'.
However, all building jobs have an amount of risk associated with them. To account for this risk, a contingency sum is included into the price.
Often the contingency risk is not realised but the client pays anyway.
At other times the risk may be realised. To minimise the loss a contractor may be tempted to take shortcuts or issue variations.
Because you want your home to be built right, to a high standard and finish, a 'Cost Plus Contract' will help to achieve that.
You know the builder can afford to do the job properly and you will only pay for what it takes.
The outcome is a quality job you can enjoy forever and all for a fair price.
